- I have just been notified by the President of the
New Canaan Preservation Allliance that the new owners
of "Harwinton House" has made an application
for demolition. A letter has been written to the building
official asking for a 90 day delay. If there is anyone
out there that may be interesting in moving one of Harwintons
most historic houses back into town, please let me know
asap and I will forward the information onto the proper

water. Life was simpler in these early 20th century
New England villages, which consisted of only a few
public buildings and a dozen or so farm houses. Join
museum curator Cynthia Roznoy, Ph.D. and author Romily
Cochrane Cofrancesco who set the historical stage as
former Campville residents Arthur Kelley and Louella
Barte share memories of growing up in the now lost villages.
